This was the 1st Bracket Race since the name of the track was put back to Houston Raceway Park that included classes of Sportsman Junior Dragsters, Advanced Junior Dragsters, Junior Street, D.O.T. Street, No Box and Super Pro. It was a hot day with a good breeze in the upper 90's. I took some photos in the morning and announced the race starting in the 1st round of eliminations around 12:30 PM. It was my 57th Birthday and had a blast.
